Firefly Night

8:30 p.m. • Parking: 124 Old Farms Rd., Simsbury, Covenant Presbyterian Church, please park in the back parking lot

Join Simsbury Land Trust Youth Corps and SLT Board Member and Roaring Brook Nature Center Program Coordinator, Margery Winters at Wagner Woods to observe the fireflies in their natural habitat. Learn about firefly ecology and how we can protect these incredible insects. Please apply bug spray before arrival to protect the insects at the site. Bring a red-filtered flashlight or headlamp. Red-filters reduce interference with the fireflies.
