In-Kind Donations

Simsbury Land Trust stewards have been working to improve the parking areas to provide safe, reliable access to the trails. They have cleared trees, stumps, and rocks, and added firmer material to create a more durable surface. Beyond improving appearance, this work also helps discourage illegal dumping.

Chris Latz and his team at Thrive Farm donated composting services at their composting facility on Wolcott Road & Matt Lloyd of Farmington Valley Stump Grinding and Land Services removed stumps at Westledge and Wagner Woods Parking areas. While we aim to keep our properties as natural as possible, it is also important that they feel safe and offer adequate parking.
