Amphibian Big Night

Location: Town Forest Park, 86 Town Forest Road (Please enter Town Forest Rd. through West Mountain Rd./Nimrod Rd. NOT Stratton Brook Rd.)

March is a very important time for amphibians. Salamanders and frogs will be coming out of the woods to vernal pools to reproduce. The best time to see the amphibians on the move will be in very particular conditions of warm but rainy weather. We will not be able to determine the date of the event until 24-48 hours ahead of time. Please register using the google form if you want to be notified to attend this event. Dress for wet conditions, bring a headlamp or flashlight. Suggested age: 12 and older.
