The series explores the beauty and importance of New England&#8217;s old-growth forests and is presented in partnership with New England Forests, Real Art Ways, Simsbury Grange, Avon, Canton, Granby, Simsbury and Traprock Ridge Land Trusts, and additional community partners.<\/p>\n<p>Films will be shown one Thursday each month:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>September 17, Lost Forests of New England: Eastern Old Growth\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>October 22, Return of Old Growth Forests\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>November 19, Old Growth Forests:- Nature&#8217;s Biotic Water Pump<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>December 17, Proforestation: Letting Forests Grow Old<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each evening begins with a reception at <strong>6:00 p.m., followed by a one-hour film at 6:30 p.m.<\/strong> and a brief Q&amp;A with filmmaker Ray Asselin.
